As of today, I believe everyone in my family is healthy. Don received a good report from the results of his recent lung surgery and biopsy. His lungs are clear and it is not cancer...or other diseases of the lung. PTL!!
My mom had a total right hip replacement three weeks ago and is recovering, at home, very well. She has days that it bothers her, but now that the weather is nicer, she is able to get outside and not feel like she is confined to her own house. I think we can all relate to being stir-crazy at home!
My niece, Megan, soon to be 19, is recovering also. She was recently in ICU and angioneurotic edema - basically the deep tissues in her neck had swollen to the point that her airway was cut off and she was on a vent, antibiotics, and other meds for a few days. She is back to work - at her part-time job and lovin' life!
Thank you for your prayers and concern during the last few weeks. I know they have helped all of us.
